Obituary of Per Eric Esten

Per Eric Esten, 65, of Long Pond, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2018 at his home.

Born in Staten Island, New York, he was a son of the late Per and Gerd (Mathisen) Esten.

Per worked for the Dock Builders Local Union 1456 in New York. He was of the Catholic faith, and attended St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish.

He is survived by his children, Jason Esten and his wife, Jennifer, of Fords, New Jersey, and Lee Anne Paholek and her husband, Edward, of Staten Island, New York; fiancée, Margaret McDonald, of Long Pond; brothers, Robert Esten and his wife, Cathy, of Brick, New Jersey, and Norman Andresen of Detroit, Michigan; five grandchildren; three nieces; and two great-nieces.

A memorial mass will be held by his family at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish. Private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
