Obituary of Richard A. Rascona Jr.

Richard “Buck” A. Rascona Jr., 47, of Cresco, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. He was the loving husband of Amber Rascona.

Born in East Stroudsburg, he was a son of Richard Rascona Sr. of Wisconsin, and the late Loretta (Weiss) Rascona.

He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with his boys, who were his absolute pride and joy. Buck worked for JPA Masonry as a mason who was dedicated and passionate about his career.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Jesse Rascona of Honesdale, Mason Rascona of Cresco, and Dalton Rascona of Cresco; brothers, Adam Rascona and his wife, Crystal, and Jason Rascona, all of Wisconsin; sister, Tracy Sadura and her husband, Arthur, of Nutley, New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. Pastor Kenneth Cathcart will conduct a service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
