Obituary of Anthony Frank Martino

Anthony Frank Martino, 89, of Tobyhanna, died Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Whitestone Care Center in Stroudsburg. He was the loving husband of the late Florence (Salerno) Martino.

Born in Manhattan, New York, he was the son of the late Nolasco and Rose (Cerone) Martino.

Anthony graduated in 1948 from Samuel Gompers High School in Bronx, New York. Later, he became a bus driver for the New York City Transit.

He is survived by his daughter, Rosanne Martino Weissman and her husband, Lewis of Tobyhanna; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Anthony was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jennifer Skelton.

There will be a viewing from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, November 3 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. Deacon Leonard will conduct a blessing service at 2 p.m. at the funeral Home.

Private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
