Obituary of Joseph L. Abuiso Sr.

Joseph L. Abuiso Sr., 56, of Long Pond, died Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at his home. He was the loving husband of Donna Abuiso.

Born in Queens, New York, he was a son of Shirley (Hoffman) of Canadensis, and the late John N. Abuiso.

Joseph was a loving and caring person who always did his best, and never wanted anything in return.

In addition to his wife, and mother, he is survived by his children: Christopher Abuiso of Archbald, Jason Abuiso of Long Pond, Joseph Abuiso, Jr. of Tannersville, Sarah Labar and her husband, Steve of Effort, and Danielle Abuiso of Long Pond; stepdaughters: Josephine Graham of Scranton and Jenna Corrente of Long Pond; brothers: Anthony Abuiso of Long Pond and Michael Abuiso of Canadensis; sisters: Kathy Caponigro of Canadensis, Donna Abuiso of Wilkes-Barre, and Mary Abuiso of Canadensis; and seven grandchildren. Joseph was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Ray.
