Obituary of Austin J. Jackson Jr.

Austin J. Jackson, Jr. 25, of Stroudsburg, died Sunday, December 16, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital – Monroe in Bartonsville.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the loving son of Austin Jackson of Stroudsburg and Angela (Stallworth) Givans of Philadelphia.

Austin was a 2010 graduate of Stroudsburg High School and was a track and field runner. He worked for Hayward Laboratories in East Stroudsburg.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Cameron Jordon Jackson and his son’s mother, Aileen Prother of Bushkill; brother, Edward Darell Givans of Charlotte, North Carolina; sisters: Shannel Durant of Raleigh, North Carolina; Jenna Marie Jackson of Stroudsburg; paternal grandmother, Willa Mae Jackson of Union, New Jersey; maternal grandparents, Henry Lee Stallworth Jr. of Evergreen, Alabama and Evelyn Hinton of Berwin; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

There will be a viewing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, December 22, at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. Pastor Kenneth Cathcart will conduct a service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
