Obituary of Diana Bielinska-Kilanowska

Diana H. Belinska-Kilanowska, 49, of Blakeslee died on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at her home. She was the loving wife of the late Martin Kilanowski. Born in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Bielucki) Bielinski, Jr. She worked as a sales assistant for UBS International located in Manhattan. Diana was a former member of the Matusz Dance Group who traveled and performed nationwide. She also taught traditional Polish dance in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY, where she grew up. As a member of the Matusz Dance group, she also sang and recorded Polish music, including an album with Grammy award winner Jimmy Sturr. She loved spending time with her family and friends and gathering for holidays. She had a zest for life and brought joy to so many. She will be missed by all. She is survived by her son: Justin Kilanowski of Blakeslee; two brother-in-laws: Edward Kilanowski of Freeland, Stephen Kilanowski and his wife Ramona of Roaring Brook Twp; and several nieces, nephews, a great-niece, and cousins. There will be a viewing on Sunday, March 18 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm and 3:00-5:00 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road in Cresco, PA. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, March 19 at 9:30amat St. Mary of the Mount Church, 27 Fairview Avenue in Mt. Pocono, PA. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery in Doylestown, PA.
