Obituary of Karen Hooks

Karen Deborah Hooks, 63, Of Knightdale, North Carolina died on Sat April 7th at Duke University Medical Center. She was the wife of Gerald Hooks. Born in New York, was the daughter of the late Neville and Alma( Bailey) Bolling. In addition to her husband, Gerald, she is survived by four sons: Troy Eanes, Kenneth Hooks, Adika Hooks, Leron Hooks; three brothers: Gary Bolling, Glen Bolling, Pastor Rudy Bolling: eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son: Melvin and three brothers: Neville Jr., Tyrone and Kim. There will be a viewing on Friday April 13th from 1-4pm at 1 Living Hope Community Church, 36 Sterling Road/ Route 196 Newfoundland, Pa 18445. Pastor Rudy Bolling will conduct a funeral service at 4pm. Private cremation will take place after the service at the Bolock Funeral Home and Crematory 6148 Paradise Valley Road Cresco, Pa 18326 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the 1 Living Hope Community Church P.O.
