Obituary of Michael Sabric

Michael Sabric Jr., 73, died Monday at Pocono Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Regina (Ward) Sabric. Born in Jermyn, PA. He was the son of the late Michael and Anna (Meholic) Sabric. Michael was a police officer with the New York City Police Department for 20 years. A veteran of the Unites States Army National Guard, he served with the 109th Infantry. After retiring, he owned and operated Sabric Real Estate in Mount Pocono, and Sabric Detective Agency. He was also a security officer for the Social Security Administration, and past president of A Pocono County Place Property Owners Association in Tobyhanna. In addition to his wife, Regina, he is survived by a daughter, Lt. Col. Gina Sabric; son, Michael Sabric and his wife, Megan, two sisters; Ann Narcoonis, Olga Raban, one brother; Andrew Sabric. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Sabric, and sister, Lillian Sobolewsky. He was a loving grandfather, aka, "Pops", to four grandchildren Michael, Collin, Ryan, and Tyler. There will be a viewing on Friday, April 27 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00-8:30 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Route 940 Cresco, Pa 18326. The Reverend Father Gregory Loughney will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 28 at St. Ann's Church, Tobyhanna, PA. Private cremation will follow at the Bolock Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dale and Francis Hughes Cancer Center, 206 East Brown Street East Stroudsburg, Pa 18301.
