Obituary of William Westover

William J. Westover, 88, of Henryville, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, January 23 at Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest Hospital in Allentown. He was the husband of Jeanette (Machate) Westover. Born in Clearfield, PA, he was the son of the late Dana and Ruth Westover. Bill served in United States Navy during World War II as a gunner and barber on the USS Wichita. He was the former owner of the Henryville House from 1969 to 1979 and then opened his barbershop in Tannersville, which he retired from in 2008. In addition to his wife, Jeanette, he is survived by his children, Candace Klemchusky and her husband, George of Milford, DE, Brenda McLean and her husband Kenneth, of Ranchester, WY, Keith Danenhower and his wife Roxanne, of Bethlehem, Justine Riches and her husband, Ted Smith of Stroudsburg, Dana Westover of Tobyhanna, William Westover and his wife Jesse, of Pittsburgh, Fritz Westover and his wife Sabrina, of Houston, TX; four brothers; four sisters; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy Westover. Funeral services will be private. Cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home and Crematory in Cresco.
