Obituary of Joseph Baio

Joseph Angelo Baio, 83, of Tobyhanna, died Friday May 11, at Pocono Medical Center. Born in New York, he was the son of the late Anthony and Josephine (Romanello ) Baio. He was the loving husband of Felicia Baio. During his working career, he worked as a checker for International Long Shoreman's Association. Joseph was a member of Saint Ann's Church and Pocono Country Place Seniors. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a nephew: Anthony Baio and wife Karen of Brooklyn, NY;three nieces: Joann Tuzzolino and her husband Matty of Florida; Joyce Salesi and her husband Anthony of Brooklyn, NY; Terry Licata of Brooklyn, NY; two great nieces: Maria Torrioni and her husband Tony of Florida; Nicolette Tuzzolino of Florida; one great-great-niece; Gianna; sister in law: Lena Enis of Brooklyn, NY. A viewing will take place Sunday May 13 from 2-4 pm and &7-8:30pm at the Bolock Funeral Home & Crematory, 6148 Paradise Valley Road Route 940 Cresco, PA. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will celebrate a Mass of Christian burial at Saint Ann's Church Tobyhanna, Monday May 14 at 10:00 am.
