Obituary of Stanley Dziekan

Stanley B. Dziekan, 87, died Tuesday May 15, at home. He was the husband of Eleanore ( Redyker) Dziekan. Born in Plymouth, PA. He was the son of the late Martin and Anna ( Wnuk) Dziekan. Stanley was a 1942 graduate of Plymouth High School. A veteran of the United States Army, Stanley worked at the Tobyhanna Army Depot in the 1950's. He then became a mailman in Mount Pocono from 1967-1980. He was a member of St. Mary's Church in Mount Pocono. Stanley is survived by: a daughter; Karen Dziekan of Mount Pocono: a honorary grandson; Matthew O'Donnell of Tobyhanna; several nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers. Msgr. Arthur Kaschenbach will celebrate a Memorial Mass at 10am on Friday May 18, at St Mary of the Mount Church, 27 Fairview Avenue, Mount Pocono. Family and Friends may call from 9:30am till the time of Mass. Burial to follow at Saint Mary's Nativity Cemetery, Plymouth, PA.
