Obituary of Joseph Bond

Joseph W. Bond, 49, of Tobyhanna, died Wednesday, May 16 at Pocono Medical Center. He was the husband of Katherine (DelToro) Bond. Born in New York, New York, he was the son of Walter and Florence( Gorman) Bond. Joseph was employed by Pocono Medical Center and had worked in the Maintenance Department. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a son: Alan Bond of Mt. Pocono, two daughters; Ariana Bond of Tobyhanna, Abigail Bond-Sanchez and her husband Samuel of Emmaus; four brothers: Kenneth Bond of New York, Patrick Bond of Mass, Anthony Gorman of Long Island, John Gonzalez of Queens; three sisters: Edna Bond of Brooklyn, Florence Figueroa of Brooklyn, Margaret Bond-Thide; three grandchildren: Tifa, Xavier, Amleto Sanchez; Father in Law: William DelToro; five brother-in-law's; three sister in law's; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Maddie. He was preceded in death by a sister; Doreen Calderon; and a brother: Chucky Bond. A viewing will be held from 2-5pm on Sunday May 20th at the Bolock Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 6148 Paradise Valley Road Cresco, PA 18326. Private cremation will follow at the funeral home.
