Obituary of Yolanda French

Yolanda French, 93, of Pocono Lake, died May 28, 2012, at Pocono Medical Center, with her family around her. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Nicolas and Maria (Girolamo) DiFebbo. Yolanda owned and operated the Village Deli in Pocono Pines for many years before retiring. Yolanda enjoyed bingo, ceramics, and reading books on any subject. She also loved visiting her family in New Jersey. She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving son; Earl French who cared for her; her daughter Maralille Schultz of Darby, PA; grandchildren; Philip of Blakeslee, Daniel of Arizona, Maria Gross of Little Gap PA.; a great grandson; Anthony "AJ" Hoffman of Little Gap; sisters; Mary Borbone of Collingswood, Josephine Puleio of Collingswood, and a host of nieces, nephews and many, many friends who affectionately called her Aunt Yolanda or Mom. She was preceded in death by three sisters: Anna, Adina, and Laura; and a brother, Mario. There will be a viewing Sunday, June 3, from 2-5pm at the Bolock Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Route 940, Cresco, PA. The Reverend Father Joseph Corley will conduct a graveside service, Monday June 4, at 11:30 at the Holy Cross Cemetery 626 Baily Road, Yeadon, PA 19050.
