Obituary of Ann Manieri

Ann Manieri, 98, of East Stroudsburg, died on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the VNA Hospice House of Monroe County. She was the loving wife of the late Frank Manieri. Born in Salle, Italy she was the daughter of the late Michael Ruffini. She was a member of St. Mary of the Mount Church in Mt. Pocono where she was also part of the Rosary Society. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, and was a fan of the New York Mets. Antoinette was also a member of the Pocono Mountain Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by a daughter: Carol Geedman and her husband John of East Stroudsburg, Pa; a sister: Susan Saganich of Columbia, Pa; a granddaughter: Dana Barley of Plains, Pa; a grandson: Eric Barley of Dormont, Pa; and her grandpuppy Lily. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Marion Passante and Bertha Salerni. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, June 5 at 11:30am at St. Ann's Cemetery in Tobyhanna. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Antoinette's honor may be made to the VNA Hospice House of Monroe County, 502 VNA Road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301.
