Obituary of Jeanne Koschak

Jeanne S. Koschak, 92, of Hamilton Twp, formerly of Cresco, died on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Pleasant Valley Manor with her family by her side. Born in Scranton she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Helen (Turner) Stender. After graduating from high school, Jeanne attended Business School. Jeanne was actively involved in her community. She was a volunteer for Willing Workers, Pocono Medical Center knitting hats for newborns, and she had been a member of St. Paul Seniors. She is survived by her daughter: Susan Neal of Pittsford, NY; a grandson: David and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Kathryn (McHenry)and her three brothers: Paul, Ferdinand, Jr., and Douglas. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, June 9 at 11:00 am at the Pleasant Valley Manor Chapel, 4227 Manor Drive in Stroudsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Valley Manor for the creation of garden area in memory of Jeanne.
