Obituary of Dona Daniels

Dona Marie Daniels, 66 , of Long Pond, died Tuesday, June 19, at home. She was the wife of the late Richard Daniels. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Paul Richard and Mary (Dwyer) Noel. Dona graduated from Neshaminy High School in Langhorne and worked as a head teller in the banking industry. She was a member of Pocono Community Church and the Pocono Chapter of Quilts for Kids in Pocono Pines. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, motorsports and fishing. Dona is survived by her three children: Deborah Lynn Schofield and her husband Keith of Chambersburg, Donald George Thompson, Jr. and his wife Andrea of Dry Run and David Paul Thompson and his wife Tammy of Bristol; her brother: Paul Richard Noel, Jr. and his wife Sandy of Long Pond; her sisters: Lillian Wahl and her husband Robert of California and Linda Mac Dermaid and her husband Gary of Fenton, MI and Kathleen Hornback and her husband Wayne of North Fort Meyers, FL; her grandchildren: Robert, Jennifer, Megan, Carrie, Hope, Jill and Leah; her great grandchildren: Meadow, Kylie, Elijah, Destiny and Savahanna and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 27, at 11:00am, at Pocono Community Church, Rt. 611 in Tobyhanna. There will be a visitation from 10:00am until the time of service at the church.
