Obituary of Thomas Sumrall

Thomas Edgar Sumrall, 77, died Sunday, June 24, at the VNA Hospice House of Monroe County. Born in Fort Worth Texas, he was the son of the late Thomas and Lorraine Sumrall. A veteran of the United States Navy, Thomas worked as a machine operator. He lived in Florida for 20 years and has lived in Pennsylvania for the past five years. Thomas is survived by a daughter: Patricia Sumrall and her husband Robert Steinetz of Pocono Summit; three sons: Tom Sumrall and his wife Deborah of West Hempstead, NY, Terrence Sumrall of Huntsville, NY, and Dan Sumrall of Rockaway Park, NY; three grandchildren: Danielle, Daniel and Aidan Sumrall. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will conduct a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, June 27 at 9:30am at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 5112 Pocono Crest Road, Pocono Pines, PA 18350. Burial will follow at 12:30pm at Indiantown Gap Cemetery, Annville, PA 17003. A viewing will take place on Tuesday, June 26 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-8:30 at the Bolock Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Route 940, Cresco, PA 18326. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the VNA Hospice House of Monroe County, 502 VNA Road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301.
