Obituary of John Piriczky

John Michael Piriczky, 67, of Tobyhanna, died on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the loving husband of Irene (Ramous) Piriczky to whom he had been married for 30 years. Born in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late John M. and Josephine (Mariconda) Piriczky. A disabled veteran of the United States Army he served on the front line during Vietnam. He worked as a computer technician until his retirement. In addition to his wife, Irene, he is survived by two sons: Joseph Andrew Piriczky and Eric John Piriczky of Tobyhanna; a daughter: Kathleen Rose Piriczky of Tobyhanna; a sister: Josephine Mary Baccari and her husband Salvatore of Long Island, NY; and two nephews: Stephen Baccari and Robert McLean of Long Island, NY. There will be a viewing on Sunday, July 8 from 2-5:00 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will celebrate a Mass of Christian burial on Monday, July 9 at 10:00 am at St. Mary of the Mount Church, 27 Fairview Ave, Mt. Pocono. Burial will follow at St. Catherine's Cemetery in Moscow.
