Obituary of Edward Corter

Edward J. Corter, 73, of Cresco, died on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Whitestone Healthcare Center in Stroudsburg. He was the loving husband of Joyce (Wellman) Corter. Born in Ringwood, NJ he was the son of the late Jacob and Mary (Simon) Corter. He was a resident of West Milford, NJ until 1985 when he moved to the Poconos. He worked as a carpenter until his retirement. In addition to his wife, Joyce, he is survived by four sons: Walter Corter of Pleasant Mount, PA, Aaron Corter of West Milford, NJ, Ryan Franco of East Stroudsburg, PA, Todd Franco of Stroudsburg, PA; two daughters: Krystel Webb-Gibbs of Jermyn, PA, Debra Strunk of Effort, PA; three sisters: Margaret McGee of NC, Gladis Bird of Bloomingdale, NJ, Mary Jobes of West Milford, NJ; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Private cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
