Obituary of Anthony Mendoza

Anthony Mendoza, 49, of Swiftwater, died on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at St. Clair Medical Center in Dover, New Jersey. He was the loving husband of Carmen (Patricia) Mendoza. Born in Ecuador, he was the son of Raffael Jose and Laura Mendoza. A member of St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church in Mount Pocono, Anthony also worked for Kodak as a field technician. He enjoyed listening to music, gardening and spending time with his family. He was an organ donor leaving his last gift as the gift of life. Anthony was a loving and devoted husband and father who above all else was always there for his family. He treated anyone that met him as a family member and showed them the same welcoming love and compassion. In addition to his wife, Carmen, he is survived by two sons: Andres Mendoza of Frederick, MD, James Mendoza of Wind Gap; a daughter: Priscilla Mendoza of Swiftwater; and several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews who all adored him. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will conduct a service on Sunday, August 5 at 5:00pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Cresco. There will be a viewing from 2:00pm until the time of service.
