Obituary of Robert Valero

Robert Valero, 51, died on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Cape Regional Medical Center in Cape May, New Jersey. He was the loving husband of Karen (DiPietro) Valero. Formerly of South Beach Staten Island he lived in Blakeslee for the last 16 years. Born in Staten Island, NY he was the son of Robert and Dolores (Ruscillo) Valero. Robert worked for Verizon as a phone technician and was formerly employed as a foreign exchange broker for Noonan Astley & Pierce and Cantor Fitzgerald. He enjoyed spending time hunting in upstate New York, motorcycle riding and most of all enjoying his time with his family. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by; three children: Robert, Carlo and Sabrina Valero; a granddaughter: Ava Jordan-Valero; a brother: David Valero; two sisters: Debra Weinberg and Marion Lehman; father and mother in law: Carl and Carole DiPietro; Brother in laws: Joseph Pravato and his wife Denise; Kenneth Weinberg; Anthony DiPietro and his wife Joanne; sister in law: Patti Valero; and nieces and nephews: Alexa, Torre, Nicholas, Hayley, Rebecca and Travis. There will be a viewing on Friday, August 3 from 2-4 and 7-8:30pm and Saturday, August 4 from 1-4:00 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Cresco. A service will be held on Saturday, August 4 at 4:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
