Obituary of Eugene Hall

Eugene Hall, 89, of Tobyhanna, died Friday, August 3 at Brookmont Healthcare Center in Effort. He was the husband of the late Ann Marie C. Hall. Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was the son of the late Eugene Hall, Sr. and Ella (Watts) Ferguson. A veteran of the United States Airforce he had served during WWII. Before retiring, Eugene worked for the United States Parcel Service. He was a member of St. Ann's Church in Tobyhanna. He is survived by one son: Barry E. Hall and his wife Sandra of Tobyhanna; two daughters: Deborah A. McClendon and her husband Robert of Atlanta, Ga, Dreana T. Joseph and her husband Jonah of Mt. Pocono; one brother: Robert Ferguson of Ny; one sister: Frances Adams of Jamaica, Ny; seven grandchildren: Anthony Sneed, Marissa McClendon, Keith McClendon, Brittany Hall, Alyssa Hall, Jennifer Joseph and Jordan Joseph; eight great grandchildren: Seble', Keith, Bri'Anna, Jahlissa, Breden, Isabella, Julian and Jacob. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by a daughter; Lorraine C. Sneed. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will conduct a funeral service on Tuesday, August 7 at 10:00 am at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road in Cresco. There will be a viewing on Monday, August 6 from 7-8:30pm and on Tuesday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
