Obituary of Jane Stiff

Jane C. Stiff, 92, of Cresco died on Monday, August 6, 2012 at her home. She was the loving wife of the late Horace A. Stiff. Born in Akron, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ray (Shepherd) Cholerton. A member of Keokee Chapel United Methodist Church, she was also a member of the Willing Workers of Paradise Valley. Before retiring to the Pocono's, Jane and her husband Horace worked as caretaker's for the Rolling Rock Estates Fishing Club in Ligonier, Pa. She is survived by three sons: Wayne Stiff and his wife Margaret of East Stroudsburg, Mike Stiff and his wife Donna of Cresco, Gary Stiff and his wife Bobette of Cresco; seven grandsons: Scott, Daniel, Michael, Christopher, Joshua, Kyle and Matthew Stiff; and four granddaughters: Ingrid Dewitt, Erika Sheloski, Amy Moreano and Andrea Stiff. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Francis and Ira Cholerton. The Revend Mertice Shane will conduct a memorial service on Tuesday, August14th at 1:00pm at Keokee Chapel UMC in Paradise Valley. There will be a visitation from 12:00pm until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow at Keokee Chapel Cemetery.
