Obituary of Dorothy Oser

Dorothy Marie Oser, 82, formerly of Canadensis, died on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Riverside Nursing Home in Taylor. She was the wife of the late Steve Oser. Born in Susquehanna County, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Catherine (Huntzinger) Briar. A member of the Church of St. Bernadette in Canadensis, she was also a member of the American Legion Post 922 in Cresco. She was employed with the Tobyhanna Army Depot and Pocono Mountain School District as a bus driver until her retirement. She is survived by four sons: Michael Oser and his wife Jean of Mt. Pocono, Timothy Oser of Archer, FL, Steve Oser and his wife Cyrilla of Canadensis, Stanley Oser and his wife Lisa of Canadensis; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. There will be a funeral service on Sunday, September 16 at 3:00pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. There will be a visitation from 2:30pm until the time of service. Private cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
