Obituary of James Martin

James C. Martin (October 22, 1952 - September 24, 2012) James C. Martin, 59, of Mountainhome, died Monday September 24, 2012 at his home. Born in Camp Lejeune, NC, he was the son of late James and Catherine (Kitty) (McGlynn) Martin. He was a faithful member of St. Bernadette Church. James was a fisherman and a NY Giant fan. He worked at JR Reinhart & Co., for over 27 years. He served his country in the United States Navy. He is survived by his son: James C. Martin III of Mountainhome; two sisters: Eve Neville and husband Tom of Mt. Pocono, and Molly Marro and husband Roland of Canadensis; brother-in-law John Monck; sister-in-law Gayle Martin; five nieces: Carly Monck, Shannon Monck, Katie Marrow, Angela Seese, Jenny Seese; three nephews: Tom Marrow, Gregory Marrow, Clinton Martin; best friend Joe Stetson; baby Conner; beloved friends at JR Rheinhart & Co.; many cousins, Aunts and Uncles. He is preceded in death by a brother: Terry Martin; sister: Kitty Martin Monck. There will be a viewing on Thursday, September 27 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 8:30 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road in Cresco. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, September 28, at 10:00 am at St. Bernadette's Church, Route 390, Canadensis, Pa. 18325 In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the American Red Cross 322 Park Ave, Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360 and Barrett Twp.
