Obituary of Edward Derr

Edward B. Derr, 81, of Blakesee, died on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the loving husband of Camille (Brewer) Derr. He was a member of the Mount Pocono Kingdom Hall of Jehovah' Witness. Formerly of Bucks County, Edward and Camille moved to the Pocono's 12 years ago. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed skiing, boating, bowling and feeding the deer. In addition to his wife Camille, he is survived by a daughter: Carol Brumbaugh and her husband Ralph of Hainesport, NJ; a step daughter: Vickie Arlene Shea of Telford; two stepsons: Martin Shea and his wife Kathy of Warrington, PA, Kenneth Timothy Shea of Dallas, PA; a brother: David Derr and his wife Barbara of Lansdale, PA; 3 grandchildren: Erica, Steven, Brian; Step granchildren: Heidi, Jason, Erik, Monica, Eric and Jordan, Eric Lee, Randi, Michael, Scott; and his beloved dog, Sugar. He was preceded in death by a wife: Marjorie (Christman) Derr; a son: Edward Derr, Jr.; a step son: Eric Shea; a brother: Obediah Derr, Jr., and a sister: Deborah Donata. There will be a memorial service on Thursday, October 18 at 12:30 at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. There will be a visitation from 11:30 until the time of service.
