Obituary of Charles Diver

Charles J. Diver (February 19, 1925 - November 1, 2012) Charles J. Diver, 87, of Blakeslee, died Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Laurel's Health & Rehabilitation in Kingston. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph and Barbara (Dolan) Diver. Most of Charles career he worked as a draftsman in both mechanical and residential drafting. He was a Boy Scout and a lifelong supporter of the Boy Scouts. He was a humble man who loved the outdoors. Charles was a member of St. Maximillian Kolbe Parish, formally Christ the King Parish. He is survived by his brother-in-law George Cooper; sister-in-law Ella Mae Mazzei and husband Vincent; several nieces and nephews. He had many friends in the Pocono and Blakeslee area. Preceded in death by wife Mary Jane Diver. The Reverend Father John Boyle will conduct a memorial service on Tuesday, November 6 at 12:30 PM at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Rd., Cresco, Pa. 18326. Friends and family may call from 11:30 AM until time of service. Cremation service was entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home & Crematory.
