Obituary of Derrick Hornby

Derrick Charles Hornby (August 13, 1960 - November 6, 2012) Derrick Charles Hornby, 52, of Canadensis, died November 6, 2012 at home. Born in Irvington, NJ, he is the son of John and Mary Louise (Kupper) Hornby. Derrick liked to fish and watch wrestling. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter: Jennifer Songer of Florida; brothers: John Hornby III and wife Michelle of Metuch, Donald Hornby and wife Bonnie of Jackson, Ronald Hornby of Brick Town; sister: Janice Braun of Miltown; grandchildren: three; nieces and nephews: several. A viewing will take place Thursday, November 8 from 1:00-4:00 PM at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco, Pa. 18326. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will conduct a service at 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be Friday, November 9 at 11:00 AM at Laurelwood Cemetery, 901 Bryant Street, Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360. Cremation Service entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
