Obituary of Angela Paonita

Angela Paonita (May 6, 1929 - November 13, 2012) Angela Paonita, 83, of Tobyhanna, formerly of Staten Island, died Tuesday, November 13 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. She was the loving wife of Anthony Paonita. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Rosa (Urso) Ancona. Angela grew up in Brooklyn, NY then later moved to Staten Island, NY She was a member of the Pocono Mtn. Seniors. Angela enjoyed being with her friends and her family. She had the heart of gold and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Maria Giuffrida and husband Angelo of Tobyhanna; her sons: Anthony Paonita and wife Kathy Scozzare of Staten Island, NY, and Charles Paonita and wife Debbie of Staten Island, NY; sister: Marie Mule' of Staten Island, NY; Grandchildren: Martina Paonita, Nicholas Giuffrida, Diana Paonita, Olivia Paonita, Giuliana Giuffrida, Jon-Anthony Giuffrida, Danielle Schmidt-Downey and Christopher Schmidt; several loving nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation on Friday, November 16 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco, Pa. 18326. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will conduct a funeral service on Saturday, November 17 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Catherine's Cemetery, 1247 Drinker Turnpike,
