Obituary of Kathleen Kenney Konkoly

Kathleen Kenney Konkoly (September 29, 1951 - December 6, 2012) Kathleen Kenney Konkoly, 61, of Cresco, died December 6, 2012. Kathy was born September 29, 1951 in Scranton, PA, daughter of the late Alma and Joseph Kenney. Kathy was active in the Boy Scouts, as assistant troop leader of Troop 83. She was also a long-time friend of Bill W. and Dr. Bob. She was a member of the Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church and a previous member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Mt. Pocono. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends and the many lives she touched. Kathy is survived by her husband, Joseph "Guy" Konkoly of Cresco, her sister Mary Kenney Keller and her brother Robert Kenney, both of New Jersey. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 15 at 1:00 pm at the Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church, 15 N. 5th St., Stroudsburg. Visiting hours are 12:00 to 1:00 pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church.
