Obituary of Dorothy Olszewski

Dorothy A. Olszewski, 89, of Lehighton died on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at home. Born in Philadelphia on January 22, 1923, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Wojtko) Olszewski. A graduate of Hallihan High School in Philadelphia, she later worked at the Army Signal Corp. from 1942 until 1945. She later retired from the Pennsylvania State Hospital in Philadelphia after 35 years. Dorothy resided for 41 years at Arrowhead Lake before moving to Lehighton, Pa. with her great nephew, George Asmann and wife Susan. In addtion, she leaves behind a nephew, Harry Kissig Jr. and his wife Marisol in Delaware, nieces, Carole Carotenuto and husband Craig in Florida, Judith Lawn and husband James R. in Lehighton Pa. and Linda Frye in Fallen Timber Pa. Also many great nieces and nephews. There will be a service on Thursday, December 27 at 11:00am at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road in Cresco. A visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of service. Burial is private.
