Obituary of Barbara Eggert

Barbara Eggert (March 12, 1926 - January 2, 2013) Barbara Eggert, 86, of Long Pond, died on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Brookmont Health Care Center. Born in Wilmington, Delaware, she was the daughter of Ralph and Bessie (Brisbane) Hedger. Barbara was the devoted wife of Russell Eggert for 62 years until he passed in 2009. Barbara loved to cook and garden. Barbara is survived by her sons: Rev. Dr. Russell W. Eggert, Jr. and wife Carol of Marlton, NJ, Ralph Eggert and wife Melinda of Tunkhannock; daughters: Sharon Little and husband Ralph of Johnson City, TN, Sheila Holden and husband Ron of Mountain Home, TN, Sara (Sally) Thompson and husband Robert of Long Pond. A memorial Service is being planned for a later date. The family would like to thank the staff of Brookmont Health Care Center and AseraCare Hospice for the wonderful care they gave their mother. Cremation was entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home & Crematory.
