Obituary of Joseph Malone

Joseph A. Malone, 76, of Pocono Summit, died on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the loving husband of Joan (Remavich) Malone. Born in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Sarah (Morris) Malone. A veteran of the United States Army, he was also a member of American Legion Post 100. Before his retirement, Joseph worked as a bus driver for the Triboro Bus Company. He enjoyed spending his time playing golf and was an avid card player. In addition to his wife, Joan, he is survived by three brothers: Gerard Malone of Long Island, Gene Malone of Floral Park, NY, Robert Malone of Queens, NY and two sisters: Alice Agguanno of Farmingdale, NY and Eileen Galyas of Lakewood, NJ. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, January 22 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. There will be a service at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Stroudsburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Joseph's honor may be made to the American Legion.
