Obituary of Joseph DeLuca

Joseph James DeLuca, 80, of Mount Bethel, passed away peacefully on February 8 at Brookmont Healthcare Center in Effort. Born in Newark, NJ he was the son of the late Philip and Anna DeLuca. Until his retirement, Joseph spent his working years doing what he loved as a car salesman. A veteran of the United States Army, he served during the Korean War. In addition to his love of cars, he was also an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by his four children, Philip DeLuca and his wife Jeanna of Honesdale, Janet Pepe and her husband Albert of Tobyhanna, Steven DeLuca and his wife Janet of Hawley and Lynda Yosco and her husband Richard of Cresco; two brothers Vincent DeLuca of Manahawkin NJ and Frank DeLuca of Flemington NJ, a sister Jennie Niebylski of South Plainfield NJ, seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Caroline Kummer. Services are private. Cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.
