Obituary of Charles Harrison

Charles O. Harrison (January 20, 1926 - February 8, 2013) Charles O. Harrison, 87, formerly of Tobyhanna, died on Friday, February 8, 2013 at Pocono Medical Center. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late James and Anna (Linquist) Harrison. Charles retired from the US Coast Guard as a Chief Damage Control Officer, and then from the NY State Highway Department. He belonged to the American Legion in Pocono Pines. He is survived by his daughter Gloriann Smolka and husband Ronald of Pocono Lake; brother: William Harrison and wife Carol of Sundown, NY; sister: Helen Page of Sun City, CA; grandchild: Jennifer Smolka; great-grandchild: Travis Ditmars and many nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his wife: Nancy Harrison, brothers: James Harrison Jr. and Eugene Harrison. Graveside service will take place at a later time.
