Obituary of JoAnn Knecht

JoAnn Knecht, 79, of New Foundland, died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at home. She was the loving wife of the late Gerald Knecht. Born in LaAnna she was the daughter of the late William and Lillian (Ziegler) Parker. A lifelong resident of LaAnna, JoAnn retired from the Tobyhanna Army Depot in 1997. She is survived by two sons: Gerald Knecht and his companion Carol Weis of New Foundland, Timothy Knecht and his companion Robyn Daily of East Stroudsburg; four grandchildren: Sunshine Matula, Starrlee Warner, Jeremy Knecht , Jessica Simancek; two great grandchildren: Nicolette Warner and Willow Matula. In addition to her husband, Gerald, she is preceded in death by a son Brian Knecht. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in JoAnn's honor may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 163549,Columbus, OH 43216-3549. Cremation Services are entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. Graveside services will be private.
