Obituary of Barbara Girgenti

Barbara J. Girgenti, 72, of Blakeslee, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 27 at Pocono Medical Center. She was the wife of the late John Girgenti who died in 1995. Born in Orange, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late William and Frances (Donnelly) Blair. She is survived by a daughter and five sons; Donna Velotti and her husband Arthur of Glen Ridge, NJ; Frank and his wife Debbie of Long Pond, Robert and his wife Bernadette of Blakeslee, John and his wife LaLaine of Blakeslee, Billy and his wife Becky of NC, Dean and his wife Sabrina of NC; 16 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs, Barney and Taco. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, March 2 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, Route 940 in Cresco. The Reverend John Boyle will conduct a Blessing Service at 11:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Pocono Lake Cemetery.
