Obituary of John Boyer

John "Jack" O. Boyer ( February 17, 1929 - March 12. 2013) John "Jack" O. Boyer, 84, of Pocono Lake, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at home. He was the beloved husband of Cleona (Moshinsky ) Boyer. Born in Bethlehem, PA, he was the son of the late Paul and Alma (Morgan) Boyer. In addition to his wife, Cleona, he is survived by sons: John "Jack" L. Boyer and wife Ann of Scotrun and Peter T. Boyer and wife Eydie of Blakeslee; Daughter: Robyn Boyer and Ray Hines of Pocono Lake; Eight grandchildren; Three great-grandchildren: Three Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by son Curt Allen Boyer and brother Daniel Boyer. Jack was a WWII veteran and the local mail carrier for 24 years. He will be greatly missed. There will be a visitation on Thursday, March 14 from 7:00 - 8:30 PM and Friday March 15 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Rd., Cresco. A memorial service will be held Friday, March15 at 11:00AM at the funeral home.
