Obituary of Frank Micarelli

Frank J. Micarelli (August 27, 1936 - March 10, 2013) Frank J. Micarelli, 76, of Tobyhanna, PA died peacefully Sunday, March 10,2013 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was the loving husband of Seonju (Park) Micarelli. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the loving son to the late Demitrio and Lucia (Imperiale) Micarelli. Frank was a successful entrepreneur and a veteran of the United States Air National Guard. He loved doing crossword puzzles and reading books. His interests were wide, varied and eclectic ranging from; politics, religion, technology, science,philosophy, psychology, computers, culinary, business, literature,sports, music, theater, poetry and many more. He was fluent in 4 languages (English, Italian, Spanish, French). Frank was a true renaissance thinker and diverse man that could engage in any topic with anyone at any time. In addition to his wife Seonju, he is survived by his son John Micarelli;daughters: Lisa Micarelli and her husband Michael Chiong and Lucia Micarelli and her husband Neel Hammond; grandchildren: Madison and Matthew Chiong. He is preceded in death by his brother Thomas and sister Diane. A viewing will take place from 3:00 to 6:00 PM on Friday March 15, at Bolock Funeral Home Crematory, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco, Pa. 18326. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will have a blessing service on Saturday, March 16 at 10:00 AM at Bolock Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow, PA.
