Obituary of Alberta Miller

Alberta V. Miller, 72, of Long Pond, died on Friday, April 12, 2013 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. She was the loving wife of Albert Miller. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Alberta McGarry. Until her retirement, Alberta worked for 26 years at the Frankford Hospital as a cashier in the cafeteria. She was of the Catholic faith and was a loving and dedicated wife and mother. In addition to her husband, Albert, she is survived by four sons: Albert Miller and his wife Dorothy of Warminster, Robert Miller of Long Pond, Alexander Miller of Philadelphia, Brian Miller of Long Pond; three daughters: Tracy Foster and her husband Gary of Plumsteadville, Veronica Powers and her husband Jack of Oak Harbor, WA, Irene Emberson and her husband Sean of Warminster; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. There will be a service on Wednesday, April 17 at 3pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. The family will receive guests from 2pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Alberta to a charity of your choice.
