Obituary of Robert Musgrove

Robert F. Musgrove, 71, of Tobyhanna, died Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of the late Flower Musgrove. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Charles J. Musgrove and Ellen (File) Musgrove. He worked as a residential electrician in the Pocono area for over 50 years and was a member of St. Mary of the Mount Church in Mt. Pocono, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Robert also served as a volunteer fire fighter for the Pocono Mountain Volunteer Fire Company. He is survived by a son, Robert Musgrove of Tobyhanna; two daughters, Deborah Wheelis of Henryville and Elizabeth Musgrove of Allentown; two brothers, George and James Musgrove of Philadelphia, three sisters; Mary Ellen Powers of Berlin, NJ, Patricia Ann Musgrove of Philadelphia and JoAnne Zalisky of Philadelphia; and three grandchildren, Ashley, Jennifer and Melissa. Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will celebrate a Memorial Mass on Thursday, March 10th at 10:00 am at St. Mary of the Mount Church, 27 Fairview Avenue, Mt. Pocono. The family will receive guests at the church from 9:30 until the time of Mass. Cremation burial will follow at St. Paul's cemetery in Swiftwater.
