Obituary of Rose Zaffarese

Rose Zaffarese, 96, of Pocono Summit, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her family. Born in New York, NY. Rose was the daughter of the late Joseph and Antonette (Pepe) Indelicato. Rose worked as a legal secretary, for over 40 years. She used her skills to help many neighbors and friends over the years. Rose served on the Board of Directors of the Pocono Summit Lake Property Owners Association. She was a member of St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church. She is survived by a son, Joseph A. Zaffarese of Pocono Summit, a daughter, Catherine Gazza of Pocono Summit, eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her husband Joseph Zaffarese, a sister, Florence, and her three brothers: Anthony Indelicato, Joseph (Gus) Indelicato and James (Jimmy) Indelicato. There will be a viewing on Friday, May 24 from 4-7:00pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopaz will celebrate a Mass of Christian burial on Saturday, May 25 at 10:00am at St Mary of the Mount Catholic Church, 27 Fairview Avenue, Mount Pocono. Interment will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery, 901 Bryant Street, Stroudsburg.
