Obituary of Arthur Kallatch

Arthur J. Kallatch, 85, of Pocono Summit, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of the late Helen (Krawczun) Kallatch who passed away in 2007. Born in Lumberville, PA. Arthur was the son of the late Alexander and Mary Anna (Nieciezki) Kallatch. A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the United States Army. Before his retirement Arthur worked for the Labor and Industry Department as a prosecutor for false claims. He later went on to be a real estate broker for Kallatch Real Estate. He also worked for Plumstead Township as a zoning officer. He was a member of Lifechurch Poconos. He is survived by two sons: James Kallatch and wife Becky of Coopersburg; David Kallatch and wife Joan of Pocono Summit and 12 grandchildren. The Reverend Rick Estrella will conduct a funeral service at 10:30am on Friday June 14, at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. There will be a viewing at the funeral home at 9:30am until the time of service. Interment will follow at the Moravian Cemetery in Canadensis.
