Obituary of Robert (Bob) Doyle

Robert (Bob) Doyle, 72, of Pocono Lake, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre. He was the loving husband of Marguerite (Maggie) Doyle (Lockart). Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late George and Adelaide Doyle. Mr. Doyle served with the United States Army during peacetime, and then worked as a Contractor until his retirement in 2006. Robert was of Lutheran faith and a member of Faith Lutheran church In addition to his wife Maggie, he is survived by daughters: Kathleen Doyle of Corpus Christi, TX; Ann Marie Puig and her husband, Robert of Corpus Christi, TX; sons: Robert Doyle Jr. of Henryville; Sean Doyle of Pocono lake; Michael Doyle and his wife, Erica of Pocono Lake; Brothers: Raymond Doyle of Philadelphia; Warren Doyle of Houston, TX; sister: Kathleen Brabazon of Placerville, CA; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. Pastor Michelle Kaufman will conduct a service at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
