Obituary of Theresa Poynter

Theresa Poynter, 68, of Mount Pocono, died on Monday, August 5, 2013 at her home. Born in Springfield, IL, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Agnes (Renkl) DeWolf. Theresa was of the Catholic faith and held a great love for the lord. She also had a love for children and animals and donated regularly to the Feed the Children Foundation and the SPCA. Theresa enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She spent much of her time reading, writing, listening to music and dining out. She is survived by a son: Kerry Poynter; daughters: Angelika "Jamie" DeFranesco; Kristin Hendrickson and Maria Minard; grandchildren: Tyler Hendrickson; Erika Quick; Samantha Quick; Samantha Gallagher; Dylan Minard; Caden Hendrickson and Zeven Hendrickson. The Reverend Father Gregory Loughney will conduct a service on Sunday, August 11 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. There will be a visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
