Obituary of Pia Franch

Pia Franch, 85, of Mount Pocono, died Saturday, March 12, 2011 at her home. She was the loving wife of Virgilio Franch. Born in Superior, Wyoming she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Giuseppina Rizzi. She was a member of St. Mary of the Mount Church in Mount Pocono. In addition to her husband Virgilio, she is also survived by two sons; Serafino Franch of Raleigh, NC, and Robert Franch of East Fishkill, NY, and five grandchildren; Stefan, Melissa, Daniel of Raleigh, NC and Robert and Cindy of East Fishkill, NY. There will be a viewing on Monday, March 14 from 2-4:00 p.m. and 7-8:30 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Rts. 940 & 390 in Cresco. Deacon Stan Aviles will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 16 at 10 a.m. at St. Denis Church, 604 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction, NY. Interment will follow at the St. Denis Church Cemetery.
