Such a lovely man. I have vacationed in the Poconos since I was 8 years old in 1978 and we always made a trip to Callies. Mr. Callie was always a fun person to talk to and we will miss him very much.

To the Callie Family, Growing up in East Bangor I worked on Dell's Dads farm in my early teens. I would see Dell often at the farm and he just smiled and said great job boys ( my friend Sammy and I) We would eat all together at noon time and Dell and his kids would stop by too.The love that this family had and enjoyed was second to none. Sammy and I were treated as family too. As I went on to serve in the Army and marry I would see Dell off and on. I visted his Mountainhome shop and stay back in the store to watch him do is "Candyman Show" for the bus people from the city. He was Family to all that met him. I still ride by the old Callie farm often and now I'll smile a little more knowing that Dell is in Heaven and still enlarging his "Family". Thank you to Harry, Sam, and Dell for helping me to be the person I am today as i worked on that farm so many years ago. God Bless The Callie's Paul H Karner
