Obituary of Susan Saganich

Susan Saganich, 97, formerly of Mount Pocono, PA went home to be with the Lord on November 8, 2013. She was born on November 26, 1915 in Salle, Italy to the late Michele and Filomena (Sarrantonio) Ruffini. She arrived in New York City during her childhood and married Michael D. Saganich on June 20, 1937; he went home to be with the Lord on June 21, 1998. Susan lived with her son David and his wife for two years before going to St. Anne's Retirement Community to live out the rest of her days. She worked at numerous jobs including owning a mushroom farm, but the most rewarding one was homemaker to her husband and two sons. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing Bridge to which she along with her sister Bertha achieved the Life Master level in 1993. Surviving are sons Michael of Tucson, AZ and David of Conestoga, PA as well as several nieces and nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband, and sisters: Marian Passante, Bertha Salerni, and Ann Manieri. Interment will be private and determined by the family.
