Obituary of John Hildebrand

John "Norman" Hildebrand John "Norman" Hildebrand, 74, of Tobyhanna, died on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Ruth (Zimmermann) Hildebrand to whom he was married for 52 years. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. he was the son of the late Norman and Josephine (Dreher) Hildebrand. John spent most of his working career with the International Paper Company as a senior Sales Rep. In addition to his wife Ruth he is survived by his sons: John Hildebrand and partner Keith Fisher of Chicago, Ill. and Douglas Hildebrand and his wife Colette of Albany, N.Y., and grandchildren: Ryan and Jacob Hildebrand both of Albany, N.Y.as well as his sister: Margaret Marck. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, December 18 at 11:00 a.m. until time of service at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. A catholic blessing service will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery, Stroudsburg.
