Obituary of Pauline Bizzarro

Pauline Bizzarro, 90, of Blakeslee, died on Friday, December 13, 2013 at St. Luke's Anderson Hospital in Easton with her daughter and son-in-law at her bed-side. She was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas J. Bizzarro who died in 1986. Born in Perth Amboy, NJ she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Assunta (Pizzuelo) Russo. Pauline was formerly of North Arlington, NJ before becoming a full time resident of the Pocono Region in 2011. She retired in 1997 from Duro-Test. in Clifton, NJ as an assembly worker who loved what she did. Pauline had an active mind and even after her retirement, continued to work hard and expand her brainpower by learning new things. She also liked to garden, was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and word searches. She is survived by her daughter: Marlene Smith and her husband Robert of Pocono Lake; a sister: Louise Galasso of Sayreville, NJ; two brothers: Jerry Russo of Cedar Grove, NJ, Anthony Russo of Ringoes, NJ; two grandchildren: Robert Joseph Smith of New York City, Nicole A. Smith of Old Bridge, NJ; and a great grandson: Brandon X. Olvera of Old Bridge, NJ. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Cremation is entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
